Who doesn’t want glowing, flawless skin? The simple passing of time changes our skin quite a bit; on our face, hands, chest, and elsewhere. Spots, discoloration, redness, and wrinkles are just some of the issues you may want to reverse. Minimally invasive yet highly effective rejuvenation is possible with BroadBand Light, also called BBL. Made by Sciton, the same company that created HALO laser treatment, BBL uses pulses of wide-spectrum light to undo damage on your skin. To find out if you are a candidate in Boca Raton, please call the Rendon Center at 561-750-0544.
Our Process During BroadBand Light Treatment
The BBL treatment is overall a comfortable experience. Most people do not need any type of topical anesthetic because the treatment is so gentle. We will make sure we address all of your questions and concerns before the treatment starts.
We pass the device across the surface of the skin, and it emits rapid pulses of light. The pulses may feel like the gentle snap of a rubber band against your skin. Many people report a warming sensation on the skin. We can apply this photo-rejuvenation to any area where the device can lay flat, including the:
- Face
- Chest
- Back of the hands
Afterward, your skin may be red, but the redness will dissipate in a few hours. Most people are comfortable getting back to their normal activities pretty much immediately, but it is also a relaxing option to take the rest of the day off.
You may notice a difference in the appearance of your skin after just a few days, and it will continue to improve over time. Redness, spots, and other skin damage should begin to decrease in one to two weeks.
