BBL is a non-surgical, handheld device that offers effective skin rejuvenation. It works by delivering pulses of light to the top layers of the skin. BroadBand Light does not provide guaranteed permanent results; however, you can ensure your results last as long as possible by wearing sunscreen to avoid further sun damage. If you choose to receive multiple BBL treatments, every year, then your results are likely to persist.

The procedure is a safe procedure which is gentle on the skin. Throughout the treatment, you may experience warm sensations or a “rubber band snap” as the light hits the target areas. Depending on the size of the treatment area, your treatment may be completed in just a few minutes. Larger treatment areas should expect longer treatment times.

Immediately following treatment you may experience redness, but this should resolve within a few hours. For some conditions, the treatment area may become darker before then lightening or disappearing fully.
